Blueberry Porridge & Bowl with Blueberry Powder
Classic warm porridge or a slightly more special bowl – both options show how versatile blueberry powder can be for breakfast.
Option 1: Blueberry Porridge
Ingredients
- 50 g oats
- 200 ml milk or plant-based milk
- 1–2 tsp blueberry powder
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- ½ banana
- a small handful of blueberries
- 1 tbsp granola
Preparation
Simmer the oats with milk/plant-based milk over medium heat until creamy. Towards the end, stir in the chia seeds and let them swell briefly. Then stir in the blueberry powder and pour everything into a bowl.
Top with banana, blueberries, and granola.
Tip
For more variety, nuts, coconut chips, or a spoonful of nut butter also go very well with this.
Option 2: Blueberry Cheesecake Bowl
Ingredients
- 150 g skyr or quark
- 1–2 tsp blueberry powder
- 30 g oats
- 1 tsp almond butter
- a little vanilla
- 1 tbsp granola
- a few blueberries
Preparation
Mix the skyr or quark with the blueberry powder and vanilla until smooth. Fold in the oats and pour the mixture into a bowl. Top with almond butter, granola, and fresh blueberries.
Tip
For an even more dessert-like feel, first chill the mixture of skyr and oats for 30–60 minutes. Only then top it with almond butter, granola, and fresh blueberries.
Optional additions include coconut chips, chopped nuts, or some biscuit crunch.
